Hema Malini launches two books on spirituality

Mumbai, May 12 (UNI) Bollywood star and MP Hema Malini has launched two new paperbacks, 'The Origin of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga' and 'The existence of God is self evident', authored by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, founder of modern Pranic healing and Yoga.

Ms Malini released the books yesterday in the presence of World Pranic Healing Foundation master Stephen Co and Pranic Healing Foundation (Mumbai) managing trustee Raja.

Founded by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, Pranic healing is an ancient science of healing that utilises prana or life energy to heal the physical body. It involves the manipulation of energy in the patient's body.

To promote health and knowledge of pranic healing, 16 Pranic Healing Foundations have been set up in nine states across the country. All these centres are linked to the All India Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation, set up in Bangalore in 1996.

''I have learnt Reiki and I know how energy works. We live stressful lives and need to learn to heal ourselves. Pranic healing is very simple and effective,'' Ms Malini said.
