Haryana to introduce Yoga in schools
Karnal, May 12 (UNI) Haryana will include Yoga in the school curriculum to create an interest among the children in this ancient Indian science for keeping the body healthy.
''Yoga is being introduced in school syllabus so that the children may develop an interest in the Yoga Asanas and health care,'' Finance Minister Birender Singh said during a Yoga Science Camp organised by the Patanjali Yogpeeth at Karan stadium here.
He also urged Swami Ramdev to prepare a package for eradication of corruption in politics.
He said the ''Yoga revolution'' brought about by Swami Ramdev would prove to be one of the great movements of the 21st century.
The Minister appreciated the efforts of Swami Ramdev for spreading the awareness about Yoga and health care among the people. Due to his efforts, the faith of people in Yoga had been increased, he added.
