GNFC posts 31.56 pc jump in net profit to Rs 294.72 cr
Ahmedabad, May 12 (UNI) Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company (GNFC) has posted highest ever 35.15 per cent jump in Profit Before Tax (PBT) to Rs 446.55 crore last year ended March 31 from Rs 330.42 crore the previous year.
Similarly, the company has posted the highest ever 31.56 per cent jump in Profit After Tax (PAT) to Rs 294.72 crore from Rs 224.02 crore over the same period.
Announcing the annual results, company's managing director Balwant Singh today also informed that the GNFC has received approval from BSE and NSE for its amalgamation with its subsidiary Narmada Chematur Petrochemicals Ltd (NCPL).
The company's total turnover also jumped by 17.87 per cent to Rs 2,281.33 crore from Rs 1,935.crore over the same period.
He declared a dividend of Rs 4.25 per share (45 per cent) as against Rs 3.75 (37.5 per cent) the previous year.
