Chances of Rahul's bigger role elate Cong workers

Patna, May 12 (UNI) The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee today welcomed the announcement of Congress President Sonia Gandhi about Rahul Gandhi getting higher responsibility in the party in near future.

''This has boosted the morale of the party workers across the entire northern India,'' chief spokesman of state Congress Kripanath Pathak told mediapersons.

He said Rahul Gandhi had leadership quality of immense value which would help revive the Congress in northern India, including Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The morale of the party workers was soaring high since the announcement made by Sonia Gandhi in this regard, Mr Pathak added.

Mr Pathak said Mr Rahul Gandhi had displayed his leadership quality and organisational skill during the by-election to the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat which Sonia Gandhi won the a record margin.

''With high morale of the party workers the Congress would get strengthened in Bihar,'' he added.
