State Bank of Indore raises interest rates

Indore, May 11 (UNI) The State Bank of Indore has increased its interest rates on domestic term deposits.

The maximum rate of interest for a period of 5 years and above would be 7.25 per cent for a deposit upto Rs 15 lakh and 7.50 per cent for deposits above Rs 15 lakh but less than Rs 1 crore.

For senior citizens, the rate would be 8.25 per cent and 8.50 per cent respectively, a bank release said today..

The revised rates are effective from May 10, the release added.
