Peter Heij is head of Satyam Continential Europe

Mumbai, May 11: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has appointed Dr Peter M Heij as the Head and Senior Vice President of Continental Europe.

Dr Heij will add value to the company's relationship with its customers in Continental Europe, and focus on enhancing its footprint in the region. He will pursue the outsourcing opportunities in the region and acquire new businesses. In addition to that he will further the existing customer re1ationships. He will also leverage his experience and knowledge in brand building and market penetration to boost Satyams' presence there, a company release informed the BSE today.

Dr Heij will operate from Netherlands and will work closely with Dr Keshab Panda, Head of Satyam Europe Operations.
