Rains bring respite to citizens of Tirupati

Tirupati, May 11 (UNI) Gales accompanied with rain in the temple town this evening brought respite to the people suffering from the heatwave.

The people heaved a sigh of relief following rain as the temple town was reeling under 40 Deg C temperature since March one.

Water from some of the drainage overflowed the roads. Billboard's on rooftops and on the edge of roads flung in the air following heavy winds.
