Involvement of separatists in talks must: NC

Srinagar, May 11: The main opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir, National Confernce (NC) today said that involvement of all separatist organisations in the dialogue process on the Kashmir issue was a must.

The Indian government should show courage to invite all the separatist organisations without any pre-conditions, Provincial NC president Dr Mehboob Beg said while addressing a one-day workers convention at Achabal in Anantnag.

While welcoming Kashmir- centric talks initiated by the government of India, Dr Baig asked New Delhi to make the dialogue broad based, result- oriented and more importantly time bound.

''Prolonged talks would lead to more confusions,'' he said and reiterated the party demand for restoration of internal autonomy to the state.

However, he said at the same time Pakistan government should also grant internal autonomy to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
