Five of marriage party killed in accident, 21 injured

Dumka, May 11 (UNI) Five persons, including a child, were killed and 21 injured in two accidents in this district of Jharkhand today.

All the victims were of marriage parties.

According to police, four persons, including a child, were killed and three others injured when their vehicle hit a tree at Sarasdiha village under Jarmundi police station.

The car was coming from Singhni village to Kendraghata Dalahi, police said.

In another accident, about 12 km away from the district near Shilongdo, one person died and 18 people were injured when their vehicle turned turtle.

Three of the injured were stated to be critical.
