CPI(M) celebrates party's victory in two states
Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist's) Maharashtra State Committee (MSC) has hailed the victory of the Left Front in West Bengal for the seventh consecutive time and also the victory of the Left Democratic Front in Kerala.
The victory of DMK- led combination in Tamil Nadu has also been welcomed by the party.
A release issued here today by the MSC Secretary Ashok Dhawale, said, their party's victory in West Bengal is a slap on the face of anti-communist forces who have been making malicious charges of ''scientific rigging'' against us.
This victory is an endorsement of the pro-people alternative policies in agriculture, industry and other spheres that have been consistently implemented by the Left Front Government for the last 29 years there, he added.
The election result will also increase the influence of CPI(M) in the national politics with their power in three states. Also, now the Congress leadership will have to concentrate and make more efforts to implement the Common Minimum Programme in favour of the common people.
