In a release here, State Secretary G N Nagaraj said the Left's resounding victory in West Bengal for the seventh successive term and the Left Democratic Front's victory in Kerala proved that it was not against developmental works as alleged by the Congress.

He said the voters had given a befitting reply to the allegations made by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President and senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily during his election campaign in Kerala.
