As many as 588 members of NCDEX participates in Rs 6,854 cr trading

Mumbai, May 11 (UNI) As many as 588 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 6,854 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,34,660 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseed, chana, silver, gold, wheat and chilli, an NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 676 members had participated in trading and put through over 1,48,480 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 7,370 crore (one way).

Active trades were in chana, guarseed, refined soy oil, wheat, silver and gold, the release added.
