Afila plans to enhance revenue, double headcount
Bangalore, May 11: To meet the exponential growth of the communications, networking and telecom industry, Afila Inc, a communications testing company, today announced its plans to grow its revenue by over 200 per cent in the next three years and double the staff strength in India over the next 12 months.
Talking to reporters here today, Company CEO and Founder Amar Mutt said the Communications industry was growing at a rapid speed across the globe, with companies continuing to roll out products with next generation technology to provide edge to users.
According to a report by Frost and Sullivan, the network testing market revenues was set to grow at an annual rate of 6.8 per cent from 731.8 million Dollar in 2004 to 1.2 billion Dollar by 2011, he said, adding that the rapid growth was being fuelled by newer technologies, including VoIP, Gigabit Ethernet, wireless LANs, and VPNs.
Mr Mutt said to keep pace with brisk growth, the company was inducing several top level management to ensure that Afila was best placed to capatilise on the boom in testing market, meet its desired growth targets, global competition and increasing industry needs, he said.
Afila would invest around four million Dollars over the next 18 months in the development of infrastructure and test labs for leading edge technologies, he informed.
