Woman holding Finland passport arrested from Sahar aiport

Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the customs today arrested a woman holding Finland passport from Sahar international airport here after they seized 'hashish' worth over Rs 32.67 lakh from her bag.

AIU sources said acting on a tip-off from Air India security staff, the officers intercepted Ms Lundberg Malin Isabelle (25) who was to depart to Copenhagen by Lufthansa Airlines.

On conducting a search, they recovered 6534 grams hashish which was concealed in her bag.

She has been arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 and further investigations were on.
