UP govt. announces transfer policy for 2006-07
Lucknow, May 10: Uttar Pradesh government today announced the transfer policy for the current financial year, which has no change from last year's policy.
The state cabinet today approved the transfer policy 2006-07 with the last date fixed on May 31.
State chief secretary Navin Chandra Bajpayee here said there is no change in the policy which was implemented in the last year.
According to the policy, grade A and B officers would be transfered if they have completed six year in a district and 10 years in a division while grade A officers would not be posted in their home division and grade B in their home district.
A departmental in-charge would be shifted out after six years in one place while effort would be made for posting husband and wife in the same area.
Handicapped employees would be exempted from the transfer policy.
In another decision, the government has made a minor amendment in the tourism policy, authorising it to decide on the allotment of land and other facilities where there is no Development Authority.
