Raichur records highest maximum temp of 41.7 degre celsius

Bangalore, May 10 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today. Rainfall occurred at a few places over Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Tavaragere, Turuvakere 5 each; Alur, C.R.Patna, Hassan 4 each; Bevoor, Sakleshpura, Bangalore AP, Thondebhavi 3 each; Kukanoor, Holenarsipura, Bagepalli, Bangalore city, C.N.Halli, Tiptur 2 each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 41.7 degree celsius over the State.
