Nursery admission: HC bans interview of children, parents
New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today ruled that private schools will not conduct interviews of either children or their parents during admission to nursery classes.
A divison bench, headed by Acting Chief Justice Vijendra Jain, observed that the school authorities should stop the practice causing avoidable problem to already hassled parents and children.
The petition was moved by Ashok Aggarwal, president of an organisation called Social Jurist.
The order was almost reiteration of an earlier order pronounced in December 2005.
