Nine blackbucks found dead in farms of Amreli dist

Rajkot, May 10 (UNI) Carcasses of nine blackbucks were found in three different farms of Ingrola village of Babra Taluka in Amreli district, official source said today.

Deputy Conservator of Forest P H Sata told UNI over phone, the blackbuks, found on Monday last, had died of some sort of poisoning.

He suspected the poison could have been mixed with fodder or water.

While two blackbucks were males, others were females, he added.

Viscera of the protected species was sent to forensic laboratory of Junagadh for further investigations, Mr Sata said.
