JB Chemicals Q4 net up 35 pc, dividend at 75 pc
Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd has posted a profit after tax at Rs 15.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31 this year as compared to Rs 11.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year, an increase of 35.05 per cent.
Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 85.55 crore in Q4 FY 04-05 to Rs 117.07 crore for Q4 FY 05-06.
It has posted a profit after tax of Rs 70.92 crore for the year ended March 31 (FY 05-06) as compared to Rs 59.14 crore for the smilar period a year ago (FY 04-05). Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 371.11 crore in FY 04-05 to Rs 477.55 crore for FY 05-06.
As per the consolidated results, the Group has posted a net profit attributable to parent of Rs 70.23 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006, as compared to Rs 58.34 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 (FY 04-05). Total income has increased from Rs 372.18 crore in FY 04-05 to Rs 477.12 crore for FY 05-06.
The board has recommended final fividend at the rate of Rs 1.50 (75 per cent) per equity share of Rs two each for the financial year ended 2005-06.
Further, it has informed that the board has approved amalgamation of Lekar Healthcare Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary into the company.
