Italy Prodi says expects govt mandate by Tuesday

ROME, May 10 (Reuters) Italy's incoming Prime Minister Romano Prodi said today he expected to receive a mandate to form his new government between Sunday and Tuesday.

Prodi made the comment to reporters as lawmakers were voting on a fourth ballot to elect Italy's new president.
