HM's intervention in case filed against Ramdoss, Anbumnai sought

Pondicherry, May 10 (UNI) Pattali Makkal Katchi(PMK) parliamentary party leader Prof M Ramadass today sought the intervention of Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil to withdraw the case filed by the Tamil Nadu police against party founder-leader S Ramdoss and Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramdoss.

In a memorandum submitted to Mr Patil, Prof Ramadass pointed out that the murder of a person near the residence of Tamil Nadu Minister C V Shanmugham was a sequel to the rivalry between two groups.

Stating that police had filed case against Dr Ramdoss and his son Anbumani without proper investigation, he said the case was foisted for political reasons and against all democratic norms.
