Dhoni to be recommended for Arjuna Award

Ranchi, May 10 (UNI) The Jharkhand government has decided to recommend the swashbuckling team India wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name for the prestigious Arjuna Award.

Besides Dhoni, women hockey captain Sumrai Tete, Archers Jhanu Hansda and JN Talukdar would also be recommended by the state government.

Sports secretary NN Sinha told UNI today that from the state quota, four names have been finalised and would be sent to the Union Sports Ministry by May 30.
