Coaching for men U-21 hockey tourney to be held in Poland begins

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) A total of 39 probables in the junior hockey team are sweating it out under the watchful eyes of chief coach Clarence Lobo in the ongoing 23-day coaching camp for an under-21 tournament in Poland.

India will be playing in the VII Junior Challenge Open Men U-21 Hockey Tournament to be held in Gniezno (Poland) from May 29 to June 4 and the camp, which began on May 4, will conclude on May 22, according to an Indian Hockey Federation release here today.

Probables: Goalkeepers : Shreejesh (Kerala), Shakti Singh (COE Patiala), Gurpreet Singh (Air India), Kuldeep Bhadoria (Ranjit Academy).

Defenders : Baljinder Singh (IA), Raghunath (Karnataka), Praveen Kumar (Air India), Harjit Singh (PSB Academy), Senthil (TN), Tassauuarjit Singh (Air India), Khushwant Singh (Chandigarh).

Half Backs: Vinod Pillay (Air India), Gurbaj Singh (IA), Bikramjit Singh (PSB Academy), Senthil (TN), Jasbir Singh (Air India), Ravi Kumar (SC Rly Hyd), Sanjay Yadav (Air India), Ramesh Kumar (Air India), Sanjeev Ajmani (IA).
