BJP demands removal of Surupsingh Naik
Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP general secretary Vinod Tavade today demanded that Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh should immediately remove Transport Minister Surupsingh Naik from the ministry.
Mr Naik and State Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Khot were today sentenced to a month's imprisonment by the Supreme Court for violation of court orders.
In a press release issued here today, Mr Tavade alleged that Mr Naik, a tribal leader, had betrayed the tribals.
