Young woman driven to death by wild bees

Madikeri, Karnataka, May 9 (UNI) Death chased an young woman in the form of wild bees and drove her to a watery grave at Chelavara Tatticheri estate near Napoklu, yesterday.

Police said a labourer, Poongudi (20), was picking firewood in the estate when the wild bees began attacking her. Running in a frenzy to escape the bee stings, she accidentally fell into 20-ft-deep well and died.

The body was later fished out from the well and cremated.

Napoklu police have registered a case.
