Radico Khaitan Q4 net profit up 8 pc

New Delhi, May 9: Liquor company, Radico Khaitan Ltd, today announced an 8 per cent hike in its net profit at Rs 12.82 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2006, as against Rs 11.91 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company also announced a dividend at 25 per cent for the financial year ended 31st March 2006, or Rs 0.50 per fully paid up equity shares of Rs 2 each.

The net profit for the 2005-06 fiscal was up 26 per cent at Rs 45.16 crore from Rs 3585 crore in the previous year.

The income operations of the company for the fourth quarter were 267.67 crore from 241.17 crore, higher by about 11 per cent over the corresponding quarter. For the entire fiscal, the company recorded an income from operations of Rs 1135.39 crore as against Rs 973.59 crore, higher by 17 per cent.

Speaking on the sales turnover, Radico Khaitan Ltd MD Abhishek Khaitan said, ''The group saw the sales turnover including the contract bottling units and distilleries go up from Rs 973.59 crore to Rs 1135.39 crore, a growth of 17 per cent in the year 2005-06''.
