Police denies Ajay Raj Sharma interrogation in Jessica case

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Police today denied that former police chief Ajay Raj Sharma was likely to be questioned in the Jessica Lall murder case and said the reports are ''baseless''.

''The report that the special investigating team (SIT) is likely to question Mr Sharma are baseless and denied,'' a statement from the Office of Police Commissioner K K Paul said.

It said the investigation in the case is being conducted in accordance with the law and in keeping with the directions of the Delhi High court.
