Minister dares KPCC chief to accept inquiry into assets
Bangalore, May 9 (UNI) Accepting Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Mallikarjuna Kharge's demand for a CBI inquiry into his assets, Karnataka Forests Minister C Chennigappa today dared the Congress leader to follow suit.
''I am ready for any type of probe...I also demand such type of inquiry into Mr Kharge's properties. This is a challenge I throw and he should accept it if he has guts,'' he told reporters here.
Alleging that Mr Kharge's group was behind the illegal iron ore mining in Bellary, worth crores of rupees, Mr Chennigappa asked the Chief Minister to order an inquiry into the menace.
