Mathew George assumes charge as ITI Director (Finance)

Bangalore, May 9 (UNI) A senior official of the Ministry of Communications, Mathew George, has assumed charge as the Director (Finance) of Indian telecom major ITI.

The company said in a release here that Mr George had served in various capacities in the telecom sector. A 1975 batch officer of the Indian P and T Accounts and Finance Services, Mr George had been Deputy Director General (Expenditure Finance) and Financial Advisor in Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata and Chennai circles.

Prior to joining ITI, he was Principal General Manager (Finance) of BSNL Kerala Circle, the release added.
