Jaiprakash Hydro starts power generation at Baspa-II station

Mumbai, May 9: Jaiprakash Hydro Power Ltd has informed BSE that the power generation at the company's 300 MW Baspa-II hydro-power station at district Kinnaur (HP) has re-commenced from May 02 and has stabilized since then.

The loss suffered by the power station including the loss on account of power generation during the intervening period, is fully covered and insured under power purchase agreement and the insurance policy.

The company has lodged necessary claims towards the same with the insurer and the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) in terms of the power purchase agreement.
