Former aide to BPSC Chairman sent on police remand
Patna, May 9 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna, Ramniwas Prasad, today sent former Personal Assistant (PA) of incarcerated BPSC chairman to three days police remand.
State vigilance bureau would interrogate Ramashish Singh, the former PA to BPSC chairman Ramsighasan Singh, for three days in its custody.
The judge passed the order after hearing the petition filed by the bureau.
Mr Singh was remanded to judicial custody by the special court on April 29 on charges of amassing crores of rupees disproportionate to his known sources of income.
His former boss is also lodged in jail in connection with a corruption case.
Mr Singh was posted as an stenographer in science and technology department of the Bihar government.
