Cubex Tubings secures Rs 8 crore order from NTPC

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Cubex Tubings Ltd., has, after global competitive bidding, won a Rs 8-crore order from power major National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) for seamless solid drawn condenser tubes.

Informing the BSE about the order, the company stated that it has participated in other tenders aggregating Rs 50-crore of NTPC and is expecting a major share of these tenders.

Seamless solid drawn condenser tubes are made of copper and nickel base alloy and are used by thermal power plants such as NTPC and other power generation plants for heat transfer activity.

Commenting on the order, Mr. Surendra Bhandari, Chief Executive of the company said ''we have won this prestigious order due to the excellent quality of our products. Massive investments being made in the power sector will boost demand for our products.'' UNI JJ ADG SKB1511
