Chant god's name, says Kanchi seer

Rajahmundry, May 9 (UNI) Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham seer Jayendra Saraswati has exhorted the people to chant the name of gods to get relief from the problems.

The seer, who came here last evening after a darshan of lord Venkataswamy temple, said that 'yagnas' were conducted earlier, but in the Kaliyuga chanting of God's name is the way to attain moksha.

The seer had a holy dip in the river Godavari at Pushkarghat this morning and blessed the devotees.
