Cabinet approves revised cost estimate for Madhuband washery

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today gave its approval for the revised cost estimate of Madhuband Washery Project of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) for a capital investment of Rs 271.7719 crores and at same completion cost.

The project will benefit 2.5 million tonnes of coking coal per annum, producing 1.13 million tones clean coal per annum. It will enable the company to meet the shortage of washed coal feed to the steel sector.

Madhuband Washery Project is located in Jharia coalfield.
