Accused in TDP MLA murder case handed over to police

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) Julakanti Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Srinu, accused in the murder of TDP MLA Paritala Ravindra last year, has been sent to police custody today in the murder of a former naxal leader, Venkata Reddy and another person last year.

Hayatnagar police had applied to the VIIth Metropolitan Magistrate for custody of Srinu for interrogation in the murder of Reddy and the court granted the request for two days.

Srinu, lodged in the high security Cherlapalli Central Prison, was shifted to Hayatnagar police station amidst tight security.
