7 killed, 15 injured in a road accident

Kushinagar, May 9 (UNI) At least seven people, including five women, were killed and 15 others injured when a speeding truck hit a tractor-trolley in Turkpatti area here today.

Police said the incident took place when a tractor-trolley carrying about 25 villagers collided with a speeding truck this morning near Dhunwalia.

The deceased were identified as Baby (30), Paramjoti (5), Rita Devi (35), Monu (7), Suman (18) and Bindu.

One body was yet to be identified.

Those killed include three women members of a family, police added.

A case had been registered.
