Three killed, two injured in car-tractor collision in AP

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, May 8 (UNI) Three people, including a girl were killed and two suffered injuries when a car collided with a tractor laden with tobacco bales near Kakuturivaripalem in Podili mandal of Prakasham district today.

According to police, five persons in a car from Ongole were proceeding to Darsi when the mishap occurred.

Thirtyfive-year-old driver Dhanunjaya Rao along with two other occupants identified as Santhosh Evanjalia (35) and her daughter Myla Marlina (8) died on the spot.

Sophia, another daughter of the deceased Evanjlia, and the fifth occupant of the car identified as Kripakar were shifted to Guntur General Hospital about 70 km from here after preliminary treatment at Podili, police added.
