Shree Cement April 2006 despatches jump 44 per cent

Kolkata, May 08 (UNI) Shree Cement, the Beawar (Rajasthan) based cement manufacturer, has despatched 3.66 lakh MT of its production in April, 2006.

This represents growth of 44 per cent over the corresponding month of 2005, in which it despatched 2.55 lakh MT.

The major reason for this substantial growth is the commissioning of the company's greenfield project in Rajasthan in end February 2006, according to a company release.
