One dies, 10 injured in road accident

Kohima, May 8 : One person died and ten were injured when a van, a motor cycle and two two-wheelers collided at the Seventh Mile area of Dimapur town on the National Highway 39, last evening.

Official sources said here today a scooter collided with a van, after being hit by a motor cycle, and the three vehicles were badly damaged last evening.

People, travelling in the van and two-wheelers, were injured.

The driver of the scooter was seriously injured, who succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital.

Police said the investigations were on.
