Karnataka Bank, Western Union in tie-up with BOI for inbound MT svcs

Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) Western Union, a worldwide leader in money transfer services, and Karnataka Bank today announced their relationship with Bank of India (BOI) for inbound money transfer services in India.

An agreement to this effect was signed by Western Union Services India Managing Director Anil Kapur, BOI Chairman and Managing Director M Balachandran and Karnataka Bank Chairman Ananthakrishna.

With this tie-up, Western Union Money Transfer Services will now be available at select branches of BOI across the country. The agent locations, extending over 2,74,000 agent locations across the globe, will now be a part of Western Union's global network, which include its affiliates like Oriandi Valuta and Vigo.
