Kamat demands inquiry by ACB, HC judge
Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) Mumbai Regional Congress Committee President Gurudas Kamat today said that the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) or a retired High Court judge should probe into the controversial redevelopment plan of Crawfard Market.
In a letter to Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner (BMC) Johny Joseph, Mr Kamat said he came across a report that an officer from BMC would probe in this issue.
He said the probe should be done on the proposal of redevelopment and fix the responsibility on those who had rushed in to bring about a loss of nearly Rs 300 crore to the BMC .
