JP alleges faulty methodology in exit poll survey
New Delhi, May 8: Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today complained to the Election Commission about the ''faulty'' methodology adopted by the people conducting the exit polls in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
In a letter addressed to the Election Commission regarding the exit polls conducted by the CNN/IBN/Hindu at Luz, part of Mylapore constituency, Dr Swamy said the pollsters were using an yellow piece of paper ticked by the voters before they entered the booth area and the paper under circulation carried the names of only two parties -- AIADMK and DMK whereas the Janata Party-BJP combine had fielded Ms V S Chandralekha as its candidate but her name was missing from the paper intended to be used for exit poll survey.
