Haryana improves security in Gurgaon, Faridabad
Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to take a number of steps to improve law and order situation in Gurgaon and Faridabad districts, in view of rapid development taking place in these cities.
A police spokesman said special teams had been constituted to check incidents of theft, dacoity and chain snatching in Gurgaon city.
Radio Tracking System would be introduced at a cost of about Rs eight crore in Gurgaon and Faridabad and eight new police stations would be set up, including one for cyber crimes.
As many as 30 Gypsy vehicles had been sanctioned for independent functioning as Police Control Rooms (PCRs).
