GNFC establishes new production and sales records
New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Co Ltd (GNFC) has recorded sales of 10.17 lakhs MT in fertiliser and sold 1,42,549 MT of Methanol, 15,047 MT of formic acid, 1,47,316 MT of acetic acid and 67,351 MT of CNA in the chemical segment for the last fiscal.
It has established 104 new records in the production of various fertilisers and industrial chemicals during the year 2005-06, according to a statement from GNFC released here today .
In the fertilisers segment, the company has achieved 101.07 per cent capacity utilisation by producing 6,42,832 MT of urea as against its target of 6,36,00 MT.
All the plants of the company have produced more than their capacities and targets. The Company has achieved more than 120 per cent of production in ANP&CAN and more than 125 per cent of production in methanol, formic acid and acetic acid. The company has also established a new record of 10.19 lakh MT in fertiliser dispatches.
The company has achieved the highest sales of 4.89 lakhs MT in Gujarat, which is 50 per cent of the total sales. The other states in which the sales performance of the company stood out were Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
