Gangotri Textiles, Trailer join to promote Tibre

Mumbai, May 8: 'Trailer', an apparel company from Switzerland and 'Tibre' an apparel brand owned by Gangotri Textiles have come together for joint marketing and branding of their products in Europe as well as in Asia.

Trailer and Tibre will open exclusive retail outlets in Europe and Asia including India, which will retail both tibre and trailer brand, Gangotri textiles in a release issued here today informed the BSE.

Apart from complementing existing product line, a new brand line will be launched by both the companies to take advantage of emerging business opportunities due to globalisation, the release added.

Trailer based in Switzerland was established in the year 1990 with an annual turnover of US Dollar 20 Million. The company's product line includes jeans, T-shirts and fashions for men and women. They have their own 18 showrooms and their products are available in 250 Multi- brand outlets in Europe. In India they have their knitting manufacturing units and for woven in south China.

Tibre, however, is an upcoming brand from the Gangotri Textiles based in Coimbatore. The company's annual turnover for the year 2004-05 was US Dollar 40 Million. Tibre is presently selling across 12 States and three Union territories through 750 multi-brand outlets in India, and intends to bring men's shirts and women's wear also.
