GAC Marine Logistics forays into Indian market

Dubai, May 8 (UNI) GAC Marine Logistics (GML), leading provider of shipping, logistics and marine services, has announced its plans to foray into the Indian market.

Company's Director Chris Steibelt said more maritime companies were relocating technical and purchasing functions to India, which is a prime market for its integrated 'door-to-deck' ship spares delivery services.

GML has now added Mumbai to its growing network of sales offices, in Dubai, Singapore and Oslo, to serve the market, he said.

Newly-appointed GML Sales Manager, India, Anjali Shirke will oversee consolidation of the GML's profile in the region.

The Indian subcontinent, which is strategically located between the West Asia, Africa and the Far East, is being developed as a highly professional hub in the region to meet the growing demand for maritime services, he added.
