B'Desh Finance Minister discharged from hospital
Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Bangladesh Finance Minister Saifur Rehman was discharged from a Corporate Hospital here today after four-days of hospitalisation.
''He is now well oriented and completely recovered to normal status,'' the hospital said in a release here.
Mr Saifur Rehman, who had come to attend the 39th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the city collapsed during the session and was admitted to the hospital on May 5 with fever, burning urination and altered sensorium in semi-conscious critical cindition.
He was diagnosed to have Urinary Track Infection(UTI) and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in view of altered sensorium.
With 48 hours of intensive care treatment, he remarkably recovered to normal status. Further advise of the medicines was given him. His blood and urinary tract infection have been controlled effectively by doctors at the hospital, the release added.
Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, State Ministers K Rosaiah and Shabbir Ali visited him during his treatment at the hospital and enquired about his health.
