12 injured as bus plunges into river

Bokaro, May 8 (UNI) At least 12 people of a wedding party were injured, six of them critically, when their bus fell into the Jamuria river under Dugdha police station of the district today, police said here.

The bus was on its way to Bokaro from Tetulmari. All the injured were admitted to a local hospital.

Yesterday, six people died on the spot and six others were critically injured when two vehicles collided at Padma on the Patna-Ranchi national highway of Hazaribagh district.

Of the deceased, five people were members of a family.
