Tottenham players hit by food poisoning, match in doubt
LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) Tottenham Hotspur's crucial Premier League match at West Ham United today is in doubt after several of their players were hit by food poisoning, the club confirmed.
According to Sky Sports, Premier League officials were on their way to Tottenham's hotel to evaluate the situation.
''Several players from today's intended squad are suffering from food poisoning, discussions are taking place,'' a statement on Tottenham's website said.
Tottenham need a victory to guarantee finishing fourth in the Premier League and claim the final Champions League qualification spot, providing Arsenal do not beat Barcelona in the Champions League final later this month.
