Tendulkar says he is fit, looking forward to Windies tour
Dharmasthala, Karnataka, May 7 (UNI) Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar today said he has regained physical fitness and is looking forward to playing his part in the upcoming West Indies series.
In an informal chat with reporters here, Tendulkar said he has recovered from injuries sustained earlier and looking forward eagerly to play against the West Indies.
Tendulkar, who had come here to offer prayers at Dharmasthala and Kukke Subramanya temples in Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka, stayed here along with his family members including wife Anjali, his brother and sister. They were received by head of the Trust of the temple Veerendra Heggade.
After receiving honours from Heggade and other temple authorities, the Mumbai batsman lauded the various social services being rendered by the Temple Trust for the welfare of the poor people and also its concern for maintaining the heritage and culture of the society.
